Netflix eyes 'Hot Ones' live show
Netflix is exploring the possibility of adding live episodes of 'Hot Ones,' the popular YouTube talk show hosted by Sean Evans, to its platform. According to Variety, the streamer is in early talks with BuzzFeed, the series' production partner, to bring live versions of the show to Netflix.
Although no formal deal has been reached, Netflix is reportedly interested in Evans hosting these live episodes. The streaming platform plans to create all-new episodes exclusive to Netflix.
The show is currently available on Hulu aside from YouTube. If the deal proceeds, 'Hot Ones' would join Netflix's expanding live content lineup, which already includes sports events, comedy specials, and the upcoming addition of live wrestling and NFL games.
The show features celebrities answering questions while eating progressively spicier chicken wings.
