SZA reclaims No 1 spot on charts with LANA

SZA's 'SOS' has reclaimed the No 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart after nearly two years, following the release of its deluxe edition, 'SOS Deluxe: LANA'.
The reissue, featuring 15 additional tracks, propelled the album to the top with 178,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending 26 December, marking a 297% surge in activity. Originally released in December 2022, SOS has accumulated 11 nonconsecutive weeks at No 1.
The deluxe edition's new tracks generated 105,000 units, enough to top the chart as a standalone project. With SOS staying in the chart's top 20 for 107 consecutive weeks, it continues to solidify its legacy as a streaming powerhouse.
