Vince McMahon docuseries to premieres next month
The highly anticipated Netflix docuseries 'Mr. McMahon,' focusing on the life of former WWE CEO Vince McMahon, is set to premiere on 25 September.
The six-part series will delve into McMahon's rise as a controversial figure who transformed WWE into a global entertainment empire, and his eventual downfall following sexual misconduct allegations that led to his resignation.
Directed by Chris Smith, the series is based on over 200 hours of interviews with McMahon, his family, business associates, and key figures in wrestling, offering an unflinching look at his complex legacy. The project, produced by Library Films in association with Ringer Films, was announced in October 2020 and captures the dramatic events leading to McMahon's retirement and subsequent return to WWE, culminating in his resignation from the TKO board after further allegations surfaced.
