Bangladesh win series 3-2 despite losing the last match by 27 runs
Live updates on the fifth T20 match between Bangladesh and New Zealand.
A comprehensive victory for New Zealand in what was the best batting strip of the series, but Bangladesh will take the series 3-2.
The hosts should be worried about their tame loss in good batting conditions. They were resting a few stars, especially Shakib and Mustafizur, but this was still a World Cup bound squad and their lacklustre chase could be a cause of concern.
New Zealand completely outplayed them, except for a period of four overs between 12th and 15th, in which Afif Hossain and Mahmudullah took 50 runs.
A poor start and a poor finish as the hosts never came close to chasing down 162.
Afif remained unbeaten on a 33-ball 49, which was their only silver lining. Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur continued to struggle and the rest just couldn't get going.
Wickets were shared between everyone with Kuggeleijn and Ajaz taking two each.
