BCB to sign two-year contract with the Under-19 side
The board will now sign a two-year contract with the players from this side and the wage for the players will be Tk 1 lakh.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to set up a U-21 squad for the current Under-19 side after their World Cup-winning bout.
The board will also now sign a two-year contract with the players from this side and the wage for the players will be Tk 1 lakh. The contract can be renewed after a couple of years.
This initiative was confirmed by the BCB President Nazmul Hassan in the press conference after the celebrations for the World Cup-winning side.
"This side will be provided two years of specialized training to improve their skillset. They will be provided with the best facilities. The fund is unlimited for them," said Mr Hassan.
