Ebadot not afraid of touring Pakistan
Ebadat had a good showing in the recently concluded Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and he hoped that the opportunity to bowl in longer spells would help him improve his game.
Bangladesh fast bowler Ebadot Hossain has expressed that there should be no fear of traveling to Pakistan as Bangladesh fly for Rawalpindi on Tuesday evening for the first Test that starts from 7 February.
"No, fear of what? We are going there to play cricket, we will play and come back home," Ebadot told the media on Tuesday.
Bangladesh national team players have no experience of playing cricket in the Rawalpindi stadium but the right-arm fast bowler believed that the preparation they have gained by playing in the first round of the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) would suffice.

"What I have heard is that the wickets in Pakistan are generally batting-friendly. Keeping that in mind, we have planned to attack. We have played a first-class match in the BCL as preparation and tried to give our best," Ebadot explained.

"Obviously I am hopeful of doing better. In the BPL, I had to do everything within 24 deliveries. I will have the opportunity to bowl for a longer period in Tests and it is important to be consistent there. I have worked on consistency in the first-class matches. So, let's see what happens there," he added.
Babar Azam, the Pakistan batting linchpin would be a key wicket and Ebadot explained that a good enough delivery should do the trick to get his scalp.
"Our computer analyst provided me with some clips of him. What I realised after watching those is, a ripper is good enough for any batsman. We will try to do our best bowling to him," Ebadot concluded.
