Emerging team just a step away from comfortable victory

Right-handed batsman Yasir Ali's 92 off 115 deliveries kept the Bangladesh Emerging team right in the driver's seat after the second day's play. They lead Ireland Wolves by 127 runs in the second innings as the second day's play came to an end. 
After bowling Ireland Wolves out for 151 in the first innings, the Emerging team put up a huge total of 313. Yasir Ali scored a brilliant 92 off 115 balls where he hit 8 fours and 2 sixes. 
Bangladesh began the day on 81/1. Skipper Saif Hassan missed his half-century just by a run before getting caught behind to Graham Hume. Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Towhid Hridoy also got a fine start but couldn't go on for long. 
All the top seven batsmen of the team reached the double-figure mark and looked confident but only Yasir picked up a half-century. 
Apart from Yasir - skipper Saif Hassan, Tanzid Hasan, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Towhid Hridoy - all got into 40s. 
Mark Adair and Graham Hume picked up 3 wickets each for the Wolves. Adair gave away only 22 runs from his 16.4 overs. Hume gave 56 runs for his 3 wickets. Jonathan Garth picked up 2 wickets including the star-man Yasir. 
Wolves lost 4 early wickets in the latter part of the day as they batted 20 overs in the afternoon session. Tanvir Islam was again the pick of the bowlers bagging 3 wickets from his 7 overs for only 9 runs. Pacer Ebadot Hossain picked up the other wicket.
Bangladesh will be eying an easy win in the only unofficial 4-day Test at Chattogram on Sunday.
