Habibul Bashar hospitalised as Covid condition worsens
Bashar has a lung problem and the infection increased. But he is getting better and expects to be released on Saturday.
Habibul Bashar, the former Bangladesh national cricket team skipper and currently one of the selectors, has been hospitalised after his health condition worsened. Bashar tested positive for Covid-19 on November 11.
Bashar himself confirmed it to The Business Standard, saying that he had a lung problem and the infection increased. His doctor asked him to get admitted after going through the reports. Bashar got himself admitted to Evercare Hospital on Monday.
The fever was not coming down because of the lung infection. But he is now better and supposed to be released on Saturday.

"I don't have any health complications now. I've been hospitalised since Monday. I've been told that I will be released within a few days," said Bashar.
"I had infections in my lung. The fever wasn't coming down because of it. I consulted my doctor on Monday and he made me aware that the infection had increased. At the moment I do not have fever or respiratory problems. If this sustains, I'll return home on Saturday," he added.
