The coronavirus situation in India is getting out of control day by day. In such a situation, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) did not want to risk the health of cricketers, coaches and anyone else by playing cricket in the country.
All things considered, this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) has been postponed indefinitely.
Two Bangladeshi cricketers participating in IPL, Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman will have to return to the country before May 19 for this reason.

But there are a few complications in this process.
The Bangladesh government has closed flights and border with India due to the Corona outbreak in India.
So Shakib, Mustafiz will have to return home under special arrangements.
BCB chief executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury informed the matter to The Business Standard.
However, Shakib and Mustafiz will not have to think about this. The BCB will facilitate the process and aid the authorities here in bringing them back.
Shakib, who played three matches for Kolkata Knight Riders, is currently in Ahmedabad. Mustafiz is in Delhi with his wife.

"Shakib and Mustafiz are currently in the bio-bubble in IPL. So we wanted to know if 14-day quarantine would be mandatory for them. We will work in that way we get instructions from the government," he added.
Shakib played in the first three matches for KKR while Mustafizur played in all seven matches for Rajasthan Royals. The IPL, which kicked off on April 9, was scheduled to finish on May 30.
