Imrul shines with the bat again as Chattogram win

It was yet another convincing display with the bat from Chattogram Challengers against Rangpur Rangers as they cantered home to a second successful chase and a win in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League.
After Rangpur batted first and posted 157-8 in their 20 overs, Chattogram lost just three wickets and won with 10 balls to spare as they scored 158.
Imrul Kayes was once again fluent with the bat as he scored 44 from 33 balls in an innings that had three boundaries and two sixes.
But there was a brilliant knock by Chadwick Walton at the top of the order as he scored 50 off just 34 balls to make sure Chattogram started off with a bang and took control of the chase.
Mahmudullah Riyad, making his first appearance in the BBPL after fully recovering from injury, made earlier won the toss and decided to bowl first in Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla National stadium.
For Rangpur, opener Mohammad Naim Sheikh continued his good form in the T20 format of the game as he scored a fantastic 78 off just 54 balls.
The left-hander's innings was glittered with six boundaries and three maximums as he took the Chattogram bowlers to all parts of the ground.
But as was the case in the third T20I against India, he ran out of partners as wickets tumbled at the other end for him and as a result a more challenging score was out of reach for the Rangers.
The win propels Chattogram to the second sport of the table with a 100% win record from two games and with six points while for Rangpur, they remain bottom of the table with no wins from their two games.
