Jahanara to feature in Women's T20 Challenge opener tonight

Her inswinging delivery that uprooted Supernovas' Sophie Devine's off-stump in the final was a serious contender for the ball of the tournament last year. She left her marks in the two matches she played for Velocity, including the final. 

Jahanara Alam is again playing in this year's Women's T20 Challenge, for the same team, Velocity. Jahanara, before leaving for Sharjah on October 21 said she is delighted to continue her journey in Women's IPL for the Velocity. 
"I am going to play IPL for the second time. And I'm so glad I got the chance to play for Velocity again. This time I will try to use the experience of the last time. And I will try to contribute to the victory of the team with my performance as much as I can," said a happy and excited Jahanara.

Her team will face the Supernovas, the champions of the previous campaign, tonight at 8 pm BST. These two teams faced each other in last year's final where Supernovas came out victorious. Jahanara and Co. will definitely look to turn things around this time. 

Jahanara will face her national team-mate and Bangladesh legend Salma Khatun tomorrow as Velocity and Trailblazers battle for their place in the final. All the Bangladeshi cricket lovers will undoubtedly have their eyes glued on the TV for this epic battle. 

 Jahanara, in her two matches last year, bagged two wickets. She will be eyeing to do even better this season and pave way for more Bangladeshi cricketers to play in this prestigious tournament.
