Mashrafe says he would have gone to Pakistan

Bangladesh One Day International (ODI) captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has given his verdict on whether he'd travel to Pakistan if he had to go there for a tour, and he expressed he would go.
The Dhaka Platoon captain this Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), however also added that a lot would depend on his family and their decision would be given most priority.
"To be honest I would have gone (to Pakistan). Obviously, I'd speak to my family first and I don't know what my family would have said. We're speaking about it for the first time here," Mashrafe said at the post-match press-conference of Dhaka Platoon in Mirpur.

Mashrafe also explained that this decision of some of the senior players to not want to travel to Pakistan is not just their own decision but that of their families too.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan Papon had previously asked Mushfiqur Rahim if he would like to tour Pakistan for the upcoming series and Mushfiq said he didn't want to tour due to safety concerns.
"It doesn't mean that the cricketers that don't want to go, it's just their own decision. Maybe their families have a say here, and if my family wanted me to stay, I wouldn't have gone to Pakistan. A lot depends on what they say. The safety of our lives and well being comes first. Whoever gives whatever decision, they have their reasons and are right from their perspective in this regard," Mashrafe added.
Bangladesh are scheduled to tour Pakistan for a tour including two Test matches and three Twenty20 Internationals in late January and February and they are yet to confirm whether they will tour Pakistan due to safety issues.
