Miraz called back into Bangladesh's T20I squad for India series
Along with Miraz, left-handed top-order batter Parvez Hossain Emon has also made the squad.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been called back into the Bangladesh T20I team after 14 months for the three-match series against India.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squad for the series on Sunday evening which is led by Najmul Hossain Shanto.
Miraz last played a T20I against Afghanistan last year in July.
Along with Miraz, left-handed top-order batter Parvez Hossain Emon has also made the squad.
The under-19 World Cup-winning player last played in this format for the national team in the Asian Games in October last year.
Another under-19 World Cup-winning player, Rakibul Hasan also got a call-up.
The left-arm off-spinner also last played in the Asian Games with Emon.
He was in the Bangladesh squad for the last T20I series in New Zealand.
Mustafizur Rahman returns to the national team after a three-month absence as the left-arm pacer played in the T20 World Cup.
Other than that, experienced middle-order batter Mahmudullah Riyad is the only one from the 'Fab Five' in the side.
Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mashrafe Mortaza had earlier retired from this format and Shakib Al Hasan was the latest to announce his retirement earlier this week.
The series will begin on 6 October with the 1st T20I at Gwalior, the second on 9 October at Delhi and the third on 12 October at Hyderabad.
