Mithun to lead Gazi Group Chattogram

Gazi Group Chattogram have the likes of Mustafizuzr Rahman, Litton Kumer Das, Soumya Sarkar, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat in their squad. It was not a surprise to see Mohammad Mithun being selected as their skipper.
Mithun has previous captaincy experience. He captained Abahani and Gazi Tank in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) before. He also led Khulna and Sylhet division in first-class cricket.
Chattogram have a blend of new and experienced cricketers in their squad in both departments and will be a tough competitor for the title.
They will kick-off their campaign against Beximco Dhaka on November 26.
Earlier, Fortune Barishal named Tamim Iqbal as their skipper while Gemcon Khulna opted for experienced campaigner Mahmudulluah Riyad as their leader.
