Mominul unfazed by enthusiasm revolving around pink ball
Mominul said as they are going to play the day-night Test for the first time, there is some excitement but he doesn’t want to let this affect their game.
Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque has said that the biggest problem with the pink ball will be playing under lights.
Mominul said this in the pre-match press conference before the historic day-night Test at the Eden Gardens.
"I think the biggest problem with the pink ball will be playing under the lights. The shine of the ball might be a problem for the batsmen as they will have trouble seeing it. For the same reason fielding will also be challenging," he said.

Mominul added that concentration is a must for success. The left-handed batsman added, "If you are not concentrated on your batting, you will obviously face problems. What I think is, if you concentrate 100 percent on every ball, you will be successful."
This is the first time Bangladesh will be playing a Test match under lights. As much as this is a historic event, this also brings along a set of problems. The lack of experience might turn out to be hurting Bangladesh and Mominul said that they are trying to sort this out among themselves.
"We discuss among ourselves on how our practice is going. My idea might be wrong. I have never played with a pink ball. There is a difference between practicing and playing a match," the Test skipper added.
The day-night Test between Bangladesh and India begins at 1:30 PM BST on Friday.
