Saifuddin ready to take his place back
Saifuddin is happy to be back after a long break and is willing to show his worth to take his place back in the team.
Mohammad Saifuddin, Bangladesh's fast-bowling all-rounder, was out of cricket since the World Cup because of a back injury. But now, he is fit again and has returned to the squad against Zimbabwe.
Saifuddin is happy to be back after a long break and is willing to show his worth to take his place back in the team.
"If someone better than me comes (into the team), then he is welcome. He will obviously get opportunities if he is better than me. My target will be to do better and keep my place in the side. I will never want anyone playing in my spot to perform poorly as a professional. I will try to take my place back by proving myself better," he said.
Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo was full of praises for Saifuddin and the all-rounder said that these messages from the coach helped him a lot.
"His (Domingo) messages have helped me a lot. After I saw them in the media, my willingness to return quickly was provided with a boost," Saifuddin added.
Bangladesh team have already travelled to Sylhet for their ODI series against Zimbabwe and the first match is on March 1.
