West Indies squad announced for Bangladesh series
The first Test of the series begins on 22 November in North Sound.
The West Indies have announced their squad for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh.
All-rounder Jason Holder is absent from the 15-member squad due to injury, with fellow all-rounder Anderson Phillip taking his place.
Spinner Kevin Sinclair has also returned to the squad. Alzarri Joseph, who was rested for the last series against South Africa, has made his comeback. Under Kraigg Brathwaite's leadership, the West Indies have announced a full-strength squad. Brathwaite's team last played a Test series in August against South Africa. Four changes have been made to that squad for this series, including one due to a shoulder injury.
The West Indies lost their series against South Africa 1–0. Bangladesh also played their most recent Test series against South Africa, losing 2–0.
Both teams played South Africa at home. For this series, Bangladesh will be without two key players due to injuries. Mushfiqur Rahim had already been ruled out, and now captain Najmul Hossain has also been sidelined.
The first Test of the series begins on 22 November in North Sound. The second Test will be held in Kingston, starting on 30 November.
