Zimbabwe on 80-1 at lunch

Zimbabwe have finished the first session of their one-off Test against Bangladesh at Mirpur on 80-1. Abu Jayed Rahi was the only successful bowler for Bangladesh as others toiled on a pitch which looked very suitable for batting.
Zimbabwe skipper Craig Ervine won a vital toss and decided to bat first. Bangladesh brought in a couple of changes from their last Test against Pakistan as Mushfiqur Rahim and Nayeem Hasan replaced Mahmudullah Riyad and Rubel Hossain.
Rahi and Ebadot Hossain showed discipline with the new ball as they put a leash on the Zimbabwean openers. It was Rahi who brought the breakthrough as he dismissed Kavin Kasuza for 2. Kasuza poked at a delivery outside off and Nayeem was there at gully to take the catch.
From there on, Prince Masvaure and skipper Ervine put up a solid resistance of runs as Bangladesh failed to nick off another wicket before lunch. Masvaure was unbeaten on 45 with Ervine staying unbeaten on 26.
