China-based global edtech giant NetDragon enters Bangladesh

Global education technology giant NetDragon Holdings Limited has collaborated with local management and information technology company Data Science Technology Ltd to provide a foundation to accelerate the adoption of education technology in Bangladesh.

It will ensure a sound education system to the students living in the villages and remote areas of the country who do not have broadband connection and have difficulty bearing the increasing cost of mobile data packages, the press release added.
NetDragon plans to introduce an educational solution in Bangladesh that combines the online/offline hybrid teaching, learning, and community platforms namely Edmodo Enterprise, Coding Galaxy and Jumpstart Academy.
Edmodo Enterprise, a rapid scalable collaboration and communication platform of NetDragon that allows teachers to engage with their students, can access resources and set and evaluate assessments in a safe and reliable environment and provide administrative control, read the statement.
Coding Galaxy is an award winning computational thinking and learning platform for next generation innovators to learn basic to advanced computer and programming skills.
JumpStart Academy is a learning platform setting the standards in kid's educational gaming by creating engaging products for use in home and classroom, the press release further said.
