Google services restored after rare outage
Google's services came to a standstill for hours on Monday afternoon due to a massive outage, preventing millions from availing the services, YouTube, Docs, Gmail, Drive and so on.
The outage made Google Classroom temporarily unavailable, preventing many students learning remotely from accessing their classes.
However, the services were almost restored across the world around 9pm, according to Downdetector data.

Google offered apology for the inconvenience, saying "We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support."
It was working toward restoring its apps for the remaining people who were still unable to access them.
"Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better," the company said.
People across the world started facing issues in google and other related services around 5:30pm.
According to Downdetector, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Denmark and some other European countries were hit hard by the outage.
In Asia, parts of Malaysia, Japan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia experienced issues to avail google services.
Among the problems reported from all over the world, people faced 89% issues during logging in their google accounts while 10% issues were reported about google search.
