Robi Axiata Limited, the second-largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) to introduce IUT's students to the latest developments of different tech platforms.
The MoU will enable the students to learn about the latest technological advances – in the areas of data analytics, blockchain, internet of things (IoT) – through knowledge sharing sessions, projects and collaboration.
The Memorandum of Understanding will enable further developments to take place in the areas of market research projects, branding and personal identification.
The collaboration will pave the way in developing future skills for the students to seize the interminable potential the fourth industrial revolution has to offer.
The MoU was digitally co-signed by Robi's Chief Human Resources Officer Faisal Imtiaz Khan and IUT's Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Omar Jah in the presence of other officials from both of the organisations.
Following the ceremony, Robi's Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed conducted a virtual MasterClass titled "The Future is Calling" with the students of the Islamic University of Technology.
