Samsung Galaxy Book S 2020 launched

Samsung has launched a new laptop called the "Galaxy Book S". It is an upgraded version of the Galaxy Book S which launched last year.
The Galaxy Book S 2020 edition will be available first in the UK starting next month. It is priced at 999 Euros. The laptop comes in two colour options of "Earthy Gold" and "Mercury Gray".
The Galaxy Book S features a 13.3-inch full HD display which is also touchscreen. The laptop's pretty light, weighing 950 grams, and has thin bezels. It is powered by Intel Core i5-L16G7 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB eUFS storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 512GB.
The laptop also features a 1-megapixel camera. On the software front it runs Windows 10 Home. The Galaxy Book S is fuelled by a 42Wh battery that is claimed to offer 17 hours of video playback time. Its connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, a microSD multi-media card reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
More features on the Galaxy Book S include a fingerprint sensor, an ambient light sensor and a backlit keyboard. It is also equipped with AKG-tuned quad stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
Samsung has not revealed when the new Galaxy Book S will be available in other markets.
