Indian farmers reject govt proposal, call for protest on Dec 12
Indian farmer unions on Wednesday rejected the proposal sent by the Centre to end the impasse over farm laws. The farmers have been protesting near national capital Delhi demanding that the three newly-enacted farm laws be repealed. In the proposal, the government had urged the farmers to end their agitations.
But the protesters hardened their stance and said they are rejecting the government's proposal.
The farmer leaders also said that they will block the Delhi-Jaipur national highway by Deceber 12.
