1 killed, 6 injured as picnic bus skids off road in Ctg
One person was killed and six others were injured, including the driver and several others when a bus carrying students of Narayanganj Government Tolaram College skidded off the road after losing control in Mirsarai area of Chattogram today morning (24 January).
The incident took place around 7am on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway's Chattogram-bound lane near Hadi Musa area of Mithachara Bazaar of the upazila.
Among the injured are three students of Narayanganj Government Tolaram College - Shakhawat Hossain, Mohammad Ashik, and Akhi. The identities of the remaining injured individuals could not be confirmed immediately.

Sergeant Md Ziauddin of Zorarganj Highway police station said, "Upon receiving news of the accident, we rushed to the scene and, with the help of locals, rescued six people, including the driver and students. The injured were sent to various hospitals for treatment. We are working to identify the deceased individual."
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the accident, he added.
