Additional Secretary of the Local Government Department Md Shahjahan Miah has been appointed the administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation.
He was given this new responsibility by an order of the Ministry of the Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives today (13 February).
He is currently serving as the additional secretary of the Local Government Division.

In addition to his duties as the additional secretary, he will also serve as the administrator of the Dhaka South City Corporation.
Md Shahjahan Mia is a 15th batch officer of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre.
He has previously held important positions at various levels of the government.
Shahjahan graduated from the Department of Geography and Environment of Dhaka University and completed his postgraduate studies from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
