RAB arrests man with illegal weapon, ammunition
A foreign pistol, a magazine, and two rounds of fresh ammunition were seized
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a person with an illegal weapon and ammunition from Mirerbagh in South Keraniganj of the capital on Monday evening.
The arrested individual is Md Shakil Hossain (35).
In the raid conducted by a RAB-10 Crime Prevention Company (CPC-2) team, a foreign pistol, a magazine, two rounds of fresh ammunition, a mobile phone, and cash, were seized.

RAB-10 CPC-2 Assistant Superintendent of Police Enayet Kabir Shoeb told The Business Standard that Md Shakil Hossain alias Sunny had been selling illegal weapons without a license under the guise of a WiFi and cable network business for a long time.
He said preliminary interrogation revealed Sunny was a professional armed terrorist and an arms dealer. He has been terrorizing and intimidating Mirerbagh locals in South Keraniganj and other areas of Dhaka city, and also selling illegal weapons without a license.
An arms case was filed against Sunny with the Dakshin Keraniganj police station in Dhaka district, the RAB official added.
