BASIC Bank holds 31st AGM

The 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BASIC Bank Limited was held through video conferencing on Thursday [Nov 12].
Professor Dr Abul Hashem, chairman of the Board of Directors presided over the meeting while Managing Director Md Rafiqul Alam delivered the welcome speech.
Rukhsana Hasin, joint secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance attended the meeting as the representative of the Bank's sole shareholder of Bangladesh government.

Members of the Board of Directors--Md Shaheb Ali Mridha, Md Razib Parvez and Md Rafiqul Islam, Bangladesh Bank appointed observer Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary and Audit firm Representative M/S. Aziz Halim Khair Chowdhury were also present in the meeting.
The meeting approved the financial statements for the year 2019 of the Bank.
