BB hands over Tk1.5 crore cheque to RMG company

Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Thursday handed a cheque for TK1.5 crore to Virtual Knit and Leisurewear Ltd under a program designed to strengthen economic sustainability of the RMG sector.
Abu Farah Muhammad Nasser, executive director of BB handed over the cheque through Bank Asia Ltd, read a press release issued by Bank Asia.
The cheque was handed over under a project called "Program to Support Safety Retrofits and Environmental Upgrades in the Bangladeshi Ready-made Garment (RMG) Sector Project (SREUP)," added the press release.
