BGB detains 2 Indian nationals for illegal entry at Sunamganj border
The detainees are Malush Garo, 30, and Karol Garo, 45
The members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained two Indian nationals from Sunamganj's Dowarabazar border on charges of illegally entering Bangladesh's territory.
The detainees are Malush Garo, 30, and Karol Garo, 45. Both of them are sons of Bhupend Garo, a resident of Daliabasti area under Saigram Police Station in East Khasia Hill district of Shillong, India.
Commander of BGB 48 Battalion Lt Col Md Hafizur Rahman said the BGB personnel detained them from the border village Maularpar after they entered Bangladesh's territory this morning.
They have been handed over to Dowarabazar Police Station, he added.
