Bhola clash: Families of the victims compensated

Each of the families of four people, who died during a fierce clash in Bhola on October 20, has received Tk5 lakh as compensation.
Bhola-2 constituency lawmaker Ali Azam Mukul, on behalf of former commerce minister Tofail Ahmed, handed over the cheques to the victims' parents today.
"No one, who was involved in Bhola clash, will be spared," Mukul said at a press briefing at his Borhanuddin's residence.
"The investigation team, which was formed by police administration, has already submitted its probe report. The whole incident is being closely monitored," Mukul added.
He also sought help from media to find out the culprits.
On October 20, four people were killed and hundreds injured in Borhanuddin upazila in clashes between the police and local people who were demanding punishment for a Hindu youth Biplob. Local people claimed that Biplob had hurt their religious sentiment in a Facebook post.
