Biswa Sahitya Kendra, bKash expand book reading programme in Narayanganj
For the last 40 years, Biswa Sahitya Kendra organised different programmes for the enrichment of school and college-level students in the country
With an aim to inspire more students in reading books, the Biswa Sahitya Kendra in association with bKash expanded their book reading programme in Narayanganj.
The Biswa Sahitya Kendra, under its 'Nationwide Enrichment' (Book Reading) programme, distributed books among the students of Sheikh Mortoja Ali High School at Sanarpar in Narayanganj on the outskirts of the capital city on Wednesday.
The leading mobile financial service provider in the country, bKash has been associated with the Biswa Sahitya Kendra's book reading programme since 2014 and has thus far provided more than two lakh books to the programme, which included 40 thousand books in 2019.
Among others, Head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs of bKash Humayun Kabir, noted children's writer Ali Imam, Everest conquer MA Muhit, and the Headmaster of the school Md Zahirul Haq were present on the occasion.
The programme was moderated by Mesbah Uddin Ahmed Sumon, joint-director of the Biswa Sahitya Kendra.
For the last 40 years, Biswa Sahitya Kendra organised different programmes for the enrichment of school and college-level students in the country. A total of 2 lakh students of around 2,000 educational institutions are part of this programme.
