Coastguards in Chattogram today have recovered the body of a boatman from Karnaphuli River after 60 hours of his missing.
The boatman named Nur Ahmed, 45, went missing on Tuesday while a lighter ship collided with his Sampan.
Nur Ahmed is the son of Mohammad Abul from Char Patharghata union of Karnaphuli upazila.

Md Ismail Hossain, officer-in-charge of Karnaphuli Police Station, said, "The body of the missing boatman was recovered from the south bank of Karnaphuli River under the Shah Amanat Bridge at 8 am on Friday."
"The body has been handed over to the family of the deceased," he added.
