Cinema halls to reopen on October 16 if coronavirus situation improves

A decision to reopen cinema halls on October 16 was taken in a meeting between cinema hall owners and the Information Ministry on Monday, provided the coronavirus situation in the country improves.
Mir Akram Uddin Ahammad, public relations officer of the Information Ministry has confirmed this matter to The Business Standard.
The decision included that cinema halls can reopen with the approval of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in accordance with the enforcement of safety rules to prevent coronavirus infection, and the halls will have to operate with only half the audience capacity.
