Mercury to dip to 10.8 degrees Celsius tonight as cold wave comes
The minimum temperature forecast for Dhaka today is 17.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature forecast for the country is 10.8 degrees Celsius
Mercury is set to hit 10.8 degrees Celsius tonight as a cold wave is about to hit in the next 72 hours.
The cold wave may continue till January, confirmed Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The Met office in its forecast for the next 24 hours says weather will remain dry with chances of a partly cloudy sky over the country.
The minimum temperature forecast for Dhaka today is 17.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature forecast for the country is 10.8 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature for Dhaka today will be 24.5 degrees Celsius.
As per the information from the Met office's website, the maximum temperature was 29.9 degrees Celsius in Teknaf yesterday.
"The country's north will be engulfed by a layer of dense fog. As a result, there will be little sunlight with chilly gusts of wind," said an official.
Night temperature may fall more in the northwest regions – dropping to as low as 10.7 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and 10.2 in Rangpur.
