HC wants to know about ICUs monitoring
The High Court ordered the reports to be presented by Tuesday
The High Court on Monday ordered authorities concerned to inform the court whether there is any central monitoring of the Incentive Care Units (ICU) across the country.
The court also asked to inform how many ICUs and beds are there for Covid-19 patients.

Earlier, according to media reports from the Department of Health, the total numbers of ICUs allocated to government and private hospitals in the country for Covid-19 patients are 399. Of those, 256 are in Dhaka and 134 in other districts.
The total numbers of ICU beds in the country are about 1,000. Of those, more than 400 are in Dhaka and the remaining 600 are outside Dhaka. However, after completing most of the works, there are about 40 ICUs in different government hospitals waiting to be opened.
