Two more accused in the Sylhet MC College rape incident pleaded guilty
All eight accused arrested in this case confessed to their involvement in the incident and testified in court.
Two more accused of the rape incident in Sylhet MC College dormitory, Tarequl Islam Tareq and Mahfuzur Rahman Masum have given confessional statements in court.
On Sunday, Tareq testified in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ziadur Rahman of Sylhet and Masum testified in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate-2 Saifur Rahman under section 164.
Sylhet Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner (Prosecution) Amulya Kumar Chowdhury confirmed this matter. He said the accused were returned to jail after giving their statements.

In their deposition, the accused said that four people raped the young woman in the dormitory of MC College on the night of September 25. The other four assisted in abducting the woman, raping her and beating up her husband.
Shahparan police produced Tareq and Mahfuz in court through a tight security cordon afternoon after a five-day remand on Sunday.
A young woman was gang-raped while visiting MC College with her husband on September 25. Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leaders and activists abducted the woman from her husband at around 8:30 pm and raped her in the dormitory.
The victim's husband filed a case with the Shahparan police station. Six BCL leaders and activists and three other unidentified were accused in the case.
Law enforcement agencies arrested eight people in this case and put each of them in remand custody for five days, including the six accused.
Saifur Rahman, Shah Mahbubur Rahman Rony, Arjun Loshkor, Rabiul, Rajon Ahmed and Ainuddin among the arrested were produced before the court earlier. They confessed to the rape and gave statements under section 164.
