Verdict on Robi dues deferred till Nov 3
The verdict was supposed to be announced today
The High Court has deferred till November 3 the verdict on Robi's plea to bar Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) from collecting dues the mobile phone operator.
The verdict was supposed to be announced today, however, an HC bench led by Justice Mamnoon Rahman fixed the new date.
Earlier, Robi filed a title suit with lower court seeking stay on a BTRC letter that was sent on July 31 to the Robi calming that Robi owed the government Tk867.23 crore.

However, the lower court rejected Robi's plea. Later Robi appealed to the High Court on October 20.
