EDOTCO Bangladesh opens advanced tower operations centre

EDOTCO Bangladesh, the country's leading integrated telecommunications infrastructure provider, has launched its newly modernised 5 G-ready Tower Operation Centre (TOC) in Dhaka.

This state-of-the-art facility is a real-time monitoring hub, enabling seamless management of telecom towers nationwide with enhanced operational efficiency, connectivity, and energy optimization.

Major General Md Emdad ul Bari, OSP, NDC, psc, te (retd), Chairman, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC); His Excellency Mohd Shuhada Othman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the People's Republic of Bangladesh; and Sunil Issac, Country Managing Director of EDOTCO Bangladesh, officiated at the TOC inauguration.

Major General Md Emdad ul Bari, OSP, NDC, psc, te (retd), Chairman, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) said, "In today's rapidly evolving digital era, connectivity remains a cornerstone of socio-economic development. While the ongoing expansion of connectivity is crucial, fostering an ecosystem that supports modern, technology-driven operational facilities is equally significant.
