Who provided the IS caps to the convicts, High Court wonders
The High Court today expressed its wonder about how the Islamic State's cap reached to the two death row convicts of Holey Artisan Bakery attack case on the verdict day amid tight security.
A High Court bench of Justice Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman said they have come to know the incident from different newspapers.
"Police said they do not know about it, while the prison authorities are saying that the caps did not came from the prison. Then who provided the caps? Angel or devil?" the court asked.
Rakibul Hasan Regan and Jahangir Hossain, two of the seven convicts facing the gallows in the Holey Artisan Bakery attack case, had donned caps inscribed with the Islamic State emblem during an anti-terrorism court pronounced the verdict in the case on November 27.
