100 tolas gold ornaments stolen from Bagerhat jewelry shop

Around 100 tolas gold ornament has been stolen from a jewelry shop in a market of Bagerhat district early Tuesday.
The incident took place at Rupali Jewelers at Dreamland Super Market on Railroad.
The shop owner Bholanath Das said that he went home after closing shop around 9:30pm on Monday and found the shop's door broken after coming to shop on Tuesday morning.

He also found vault and display of the shop empty.
The shop owner also said that the miscreants cut cable of CC camera after entering the shop and broke two cameras of the shop.
On information, a team of police visited the spot around 10:30am.
Shovon Das, son of Bholanath, claimed that the gold ornaments worth Tk 70lakh were stolen from the shop.
Pankaj Chandra Roy, superintendent of Bagerhat Police said that police is investigating the incident with a priority.
