Cumilla University BCL leader held by students while taking LLB final exam
He was later handed over to the police
Mahmudur Rahman Masum, founding convener of Cumilla University Chhatra League, was held by students while taking the LLB final exam.
Students of Cumilla Victoria College, the centre for the LLB exam, entered the hall and took him away 30 minutes into the exam that started at 10am this morning (7 February).
He was later handed over to the police.

"A Chhatra League leader has been caught and handed over to the police by the students. He will be made an accused in a regular case and sent to jail," said Mohinul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali Model Police Station.
Ratan Ali, associate professor and the convener of the LLB examination committee, said some students took him [Masum] outside during the exam.
"I don't know if he was a Chhatra League member or something else. I was on exam duty," he added.
