For the first time, any city corporation has launched service via helpline 333
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) got connected with "333 Helpline" today to provide information on its services and take complaints from the city dwellers.
By calling to the number, any dwellers of the city corporation can know information about holding tax, contact DNCC officials to request anti-mosquito campaign and road reparation in their localities, file various complaints including food adulteration and illegal footpath grabbing, and can get other services of the city corporation from now on.
"For the first time, any city corporation has launched service via helpline 333. We will provide services round the clock," Mayor Atiqul Islam said at the inauguration programme today at Nagar Bhaban.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, "This helpline service will be launched in rest 11 city corporations gradually."
The government officially launched "333 Helpline" last year to provide information on its services and take complaints on social problems like child marriage and sexual harassment. The citizens can access the helpline from any mobile or land phone.
