Three including two kids electrocuted in Narayanganj
Quoting locals, Kamrul Faruq, officer-in-charge of Siddhirganj Police Station, said, “An electricity supply cable of a nearby transformer was snapped by lightning during storm and fell on a tin-shed house. The trio died on the spot while coming out of the house.”
A woman and two children died from electrocution at Rasulbag area in Narayanganj's Siddhirganj upazila today morning.
The deceased were Helen Hasan, 4, Sumaiya, 10 and Rubiya, 27.

Four more got injured while trying to save them. They were admitted to the local hospital, he added.
The bodies were sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsies.
