Drug peddler held with 820 grams cocaine in Chattogram
RAB says that the market value of the seized drug is nearly Tk15 crore
The Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) detained one in Chattogram with 820 grams of cocaine on Thursday.
The detainee was identified as Md Bokhtewer Hossain, 32. He was apprehended from Tigerpass Polo Ground area of the port city.
"Market value of the seized cocaine is around Tk15 crore," said Md Mahmudul Hassan Mamun, assistant director (media) of Rab-7.

"The detainee confessed that he had been peddling cocaine for long," claimed Mahmudul.
Later, the Rab personnel handed over Bokhtewer to Kotwali police station.
