JSC-JDC results under new grading system from next year
The examinations will be evaluated based on Grade Point Average (GPA) 4 instead of the current GPA 5 system
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has said the results of the Junior School Secondary Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dhakhil Certificate examinations (JDC) will be evaluated based on Grade Point Average (GPA) 4 instead of current GPA 5 system from the next year.
"This time stern action will be taken against people who spread rumours about question papers leak during JSC-JDC exam," she said in a press conference at the Ministry of Education.
"All the coaching centers would remain closed from November 2 to 15," she added.

This year a total of 26.61 lakh students will sit for JSC-JDC examination, according to the Ministry of Education.
Around 22.60 lakh have registered to take part in Junior School Certificate (JSC) and around 4 lakh in Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examination.
More than 2 lakh students in JSC and around 22 thousand in JDC, who have failed to pass up to three subjects, are also among the examinees.
The examinations will be conducted in a total of 29,262 test centres across the country and in nine centres overseas.
However, Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dhakhil Certificate examinations this year will be held from November 2 to 13.
