Govt to assist coronavirus affected expats
The government has allocated funds to fulfill needs of the expatriates
Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmad has sent a demi official letter to the ambassadors and high commissioners of Bangladesh in different countries.
In the letter, the minister has urged the authorities to provide all necessary assistance to the Bangladeshi expatriates who are facing troublesome situations for coronavirus.
Imran Ahmad has also asked them to send set of recommendations to tackle the post-coronavirus situations.
The minister has also mentioned about the regular monitoring of the Bangladeshi expatriates in different countries, said a press release from the ministry on Thursday.
In the letter, the minister also said that the government has allocated funds to fulfill needs of the expatriates.
