Eye specialists from Singapore to treat July uprising injured on 1, 2 Feb
The inured will get treatment from 9am to 4pm on the designated dates
A team of eye specialists from Singapore will conduct a specialised treatment programme for individuals who sustained eye injuries during the July-August uprising.
The programme will take place at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital (NIOH) at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar and Bangladesh Eye Hospital in Dhanmondi on 1 and 2 February, said a press release issued by the Health and Family Welfare Ministry today (26 January).
Specialists on retina, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery from the Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore National Eye Centre and National University Hospital and Alexandra Hospital will provide the treatment to the mass uprising injured.
The inured will get treatment from 9am to 4pm on the designated dates, said the release.
