Three ministry officials to donate one day's salary to relief fund

In response to the recent devastating floods, officials and employees of all departments under the Ministry of Finance have decided to donate one day's salary to the chief adviser's relief and welfare fund.
The announcement came in a notification issued today (25 August) by the finance ministry.
The decision applies to all divisions within the Finance Ministry, including the Finance Division, Internal Resources Division, Financial Institutions Division, and Economic Relations Division, adds the notification.
Additionally, officials and employees of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and Ministry of Land and its affiliated offices and organisations have also decided to donate one day's salary to the chief adviser's relief and welfare fund to support those affected by the floods.
