Students of the Home Economics College affiliated to Dhaka University have blocked the entrance of their institution demanding to take the scheduled examinations.
They also claimed that some of them were injured in the scuffle with police.
One of the students seeking anonymity said that the final examination of their fourth year was set to start from today which has been postponed.
"If the exams of DU affiliated seven colleges are to be held then ours should take place too," she said.
She also claimed that students were beaten by the university authority.
The students expressed concern over session jam and said unless the exam takes place they will face a two-year study gap.
The students initially blocked the Nilkhet-Azimpur road demanding the tests. However, the police removed them in a short time.
Later, the students went inside the college gate and protested.
