Dhaka University Mass Communication and Journalism department teacher Samia Rahman has claimed that she has become a victim of dirty politics of the teachers and grudges.
She made the claims in a written statement today at a press conference in the Sagar-Runi auditorium of the Dhaka Reporters' Unity.
Samia Rahman has also appealed to the president in this regard.

Her statement reads, "As the ultimate guardian of the university, the President can direct the university authorities to reveal the truth."
She believes that if the President instructs then true facts and conspiracies would be revealed.
Rahman claims that the plagiarism charge is false.
On 28 January, the syndicate of Dhaka University took disciplinary actions against three teachers for resorting to plagiarism in academic papers and PhD thesis.
Samia Rahman from the Mass Communication and Journalism department was demoted to assistant professor from the associate professor post.
